Agency Responsible for Program Monitoring, Evaluation, and <br />Reporting: <br />For the unincorporated area, the Solid Waste <br />Division of the County Department of Public Works will be <br />responsible for monitoring, evaluating and reporting in <br />conjunction with the education and information component. <br />D. Monitoring and Evaluation Funding Requirements, Revenues, <br />and Revenue Sources: <br />Monitoring and evaluation will involve relatively <br />minor funding requirements, which will be financed <br />through the Solid Waste Enterprise Fund. Anticipated <br />expenses include the cost of staff time, postage, <br />materials, and phone charges. These costs are included <br />in Table 7 - 2. <br />E. Measures to be Implemented in the Event of a Short Fall in <br />Attaining Solid Waste Diversion Objectives: <br />If a short -fall in solid waste diversion occurs, and <br />if it is determined that more education and information <br />could prove helpful, the number and frequency of <br />educational and informational efforts will be increased, <br />the information presented and the format in which it is <br />presented will be reexamined, and the target audience <br />might be changed. <br />Chapter 7 - Education and Information 13 <br />
