A. Solid Waste Management Strategies That Fulfill the Goal of <br />1. County Solid Waste Management: <br />The Solid Waste Division of the County Department of <br />Public Works has the overall responsibility for the <br />development, maintenance, and implementation of the <br />County's SRRE, the Regional HHW Element, the County -wide <br />Siting Element, and the County -wide Integrated Waste <br />Management Plan. Additionally, this Division will <br />coordinate the development of Regional Approaches to <br />integrated waste management. <br />This Division is managed by the County Solid Waste <br />Manager who reports to the Chief Deputy Director of <br />Public Works. The Division is currently divided into <br />three branches, each with a full-time manager as follows: <br />�611 EAIZ�"MR, <br />BRANCH MANAGER <br />Administration Management Analyst III <br />Engineering Civil Engineer <br />Operations Operations Manager <br />The Administration Branch provides records <br />management, contract administration, and office and <br />personnel services. The Engineering Branch provides in- <br />house engineering services and consultant contract <br />management in the design, permitting, operation, and <br />closure of solid waste facilities assigned to the <br />Chapter 10 - Integration 2 <br />
