Exhibit 6 <br /> NORTH COUNTY RECYCLING CENTER SANITARY LANWILL <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> Requirements of state laws prohibit the disposal of regulated <br /> hazardous wastes and liquids at the North County Recycling Center <br /> & Sanitary Landfill (NCRC&SL) . To monitor compliance with these <br /> requirements, a Load Checking Program has been implemented for <br /> the NCRC&SL to detect hazardous wastes and liquids which are <br /> prohibited at the site. The following elements of the program <br /> have been initiated at the site: <br /> s Wastes which are prohibited are the following: <br /> ® Free liquids, including liquid residues in containers <br /> or cans which are greater than five gallons in volume. <br /> • Large dead animals. <br /> R <br /> • Chemicals or chemical sludges which are toxic, <br /> corrosive, an irritant, or a strong sensitizer. <br /> • Cannery waste. <br /> • Drugs. <br /> • Infectious wastes. <br /> • Radioactive wastes. <br /> • Flammables or explosives. <br /> • oil, batteries, or fuel wastes. <br /> • Pesticides or insecticides (properly rinsed containers <br /> certified by the Agriculture Commissioner's office are <br /> allowed) . <br /> • Bag house or air scrubber wastes. <br /> • Asbestos wastes. <br /> • Tank cleaning sludges or sediments. <br /> • Contaminated soil or sand. <br /> • PCB's (polychlorinated biphenyl) . <br />
