R <br />PART 2 MATERIALS <br />A Propane piping shall be Carbon Steel A53B or A106 Schedule 40. Valves <br />on the propane piping shall be screwed -end, AGA approved bronze -body <br />plug valves and suitable for propane gas use. Propane piping may also be <br />constructed from stainless steel tubing. <br />B. Propane pipe joints shall be made using 3000 lbs. socket weld fitting. <br />C. Valves, tube connectors, regulators, etc. shall be threaded. <br />D. The final propane gas connection to the flare pilot assembly shall be with <br />3/8" outside diameter SS tubing and cadmium plated steel tube fittings as <br />made by Swagelok or approved equal. <br />2.02 LFG PIPING <br />A. LFG piping shall be constructed of Schedule 10 type 304L stainless steel <br />or aluminum. <br />B. Stainless steel pipe fittings shall be Alaskan brand fabricated fittings or <br />approved equal. <br />C. Stainless steel flanges shall be rated for a minimum 75 psi. Alaskan brand <br />lap joint flange with steel backing flanges or fabricated flanges with ANSI <br />150# drilling. <br />D. Threaded ports shall be thread -o -lets, or couplings of the same materials as <br />the pipe. Drilling and tapping of the pipes shall not be allowed. Unless <br />otherwise indicated, ports shall be lh inch FPT. <br />A. Compressed air pipe shall be galvanized steel with minimum 3,000 lb. <br />steel fittings. <br />2.04 BOLTS <br />A. Unless otherwise indicated, bolts and nuts shall be CAD or zing plated <br />A325. <br />B.
