Pipes shall be supported independently at the pumps, tanks, and similar <br />locations and such that the weight of pipe is not supported by the equipment. <br />M. Pipe and fittings shall be selected so that there will be as small a deviation as <br />possible at the joints and so that inverts present a smooth surface. Pipe and <br />fittings which do not fit together to form a tight fitting joint will be rejected. <br />N. Carbon steel back-up rings for flanges shall be epoxy painted prior to <br />welding flange stub to pipe. Stainless steel back-up rings do not require <br />painting. Back-up rings shall be protected from damage during welding. <br />3.02 TESTING AND INSPECTION <br />A. The propane gas piping shall be pressure tested to 25 psi pressure with no <br />pressure loss in 8 hours. Regulators, valves, and other items that may be <br />damaged by pressure testing shall be removed by Contractor or disconnected <br />from the pipe. <br />B. The Contractor shall test and check for leaks by hydrotesting LFG pipes in <br />the flare station 75 PSIG for two hours. <br />4.01 MEASUREMENT <br />A. Separate measurement for payment will not be made for work or materials <br />specified in this Section. <br />4.02 PAYMENT <br />A. Separate payment will not be made for work or materials specified in this <br />Section.
