Surfaces to receive paint shall be prepared in accordance with the <br />paint manufacturer's recommendations and Section 09900 Painting. <br />2. Surfaces requiring paint shall be thoroughly cleaned. Dirt, oil, <br />grease, and other foreign substances shall be removed with solvent <br />and clean cloths. <br />3. Paint shall not be applied to wet, damp, oily or improperly prepared <br />surfaces. <br />B. Surface preparations may be inspected and approved by the Engineer prior <br />to application of paint. The fabricator shall notify the engineer, in writing, <br />seven (7) days prior to initial application of paint. <br />A. Separate measurement for, payment will not be made for work or materials <br />specified in this Section. <br />4.02 PAYMENT <br />A. Separate payment will not be made for work or materials specified in this <br />Section.
