SECTION 11555 <br />FLARE STATION PIPE SUPPORTS <br />PART 1 GENERAL <br />1.01 SUMMARY <br />A. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, and <br />incidentals necessary for the fabrication and installation of skid pipe <br />supports as shown in the drawings and specified herein. <br />B. If the flare is provided separately, pipe supports used for the pipe spool <br />from the skid to the flare shall be provided by the Contractor. <br />C. Submittals shall be in accordance with the pertinent provisions of Section <br />01300. <br />PART 2 MATERIALS <br />2.01 MATERIALS <br />A. Pipe supports shall be designed to properly support the weight of the pipe <br />when filled with water. <br />B. Pipe supports shall be designed to provide for the necessary thermal <br />expansion and contraction of the pipes and shall be easily raised and <br />lowered to adjust to the elevation of the pipe. <br />C. Pipe supports shall be designed to include the required seismic safety <br />factors and considerations. <br />D. Pipe supports shall be fabricated or manufactured by ITT Grinnell, <br />Rockwell, or Unistrut, or approved equal. <br />E. The Contractor shall provide concrete footings for pipe supports. <br />F.
