1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />3.01 INSTALLATION <br />A. Pipes shall be adequately supported to maintain alignment and to prevent <br />sagging or vibration of the pipe. Adequate provisions shall be made to <br />prevent shearing and twisting of the pipe and the joints. Adequate <br />provisions shall be made to the pipe supports to reduce upward or lateral <br />pipe movement. <br />B. Contractor shall prevent contact between dissimilar metals. Portions of <br />pipe supports which contact dissimilar metals shall be rubber or vinyl <br />coated. <br />C. The Contractor shall provide all other materials not specifically described <br />herein but may be required for a complete and proper installation. <br />D. The maximum spacing for pipe supports shall be 10 -feet and within 5 feet <br />of each elbow or branch connection. <br />E. Pipe supports shall be painted per Section 09900 of these specifications or <br />hot -dipped galvanized. <br />F. Small diameter pipe (2" or less) run on the blower skid shall be run on <br />Unistrut pipe supports. <br />4.01 MEASUREMENT <br />A. Separate measurement for payment will not be made for work or materials <br />specified in this Section. <br />4.02 PAYMENT <br />A. Separate payment will not be made for work or materials specified in this <br />Section.
