This section covers the minimum requirements for the supply, installation and <br />start-up of an air operated condensate liquid sump and automatic pump system. <br />B. Approved manufacturer for the landfill condensate liquid collection sump and <br />pump system is Real Environmental Product's ACP 7000, Landfill Automatic <br />Condensate Pumping Station, or approved equal. <br />D. Prior to construction the contractor shall submit manufacturer's information on the <br />design, materials of construction, installation instructions and start-up procedures. <br />1.02 UNIT PRICE <br />A. The unit price for the installation of the condensate sumps shall be on a per -sump <br />basis. <br />PART 2 MATERIALS <br />A. This section describes the acceptable materials that shall be used for the <br />construction of the air operated liquid sump and automatic pump system. <br />2.02 CONDENSATE LIQUID SUMP <br />A. The condensate liquid sump shall be all welded single walled, liquid and gas tight <br />assembly constructed from type 3408 high density polyethylene (HDPE). The <br />sump shall be designed to withstand vacuum of 29.8 inches of mercury and <br />pressure of 5 PSIG. The sump shall have a AP4 pneumatic submersible pump. <br />The sump shall include an isolation well through which the pump will be installed <br />for solids separation. <br />2.03 VAULT <br />A. Operating components of the condensate pump and control assembly shall be <br />located in a polyethylene vault that is integrally mounted on top of the condensate <br />liquid sump.
