Service connections, including .the liquid discharge, pressure balance line, and <br />high pressure air inlet shall be bulkhead mounted on a common wall of the vault. <br />A 12 -inch diameter pipe sleeve shall be placed around the connecting pipes to <br />avoid overstressing them during soil compaction. <br />C. Contractor shall install one steel bollard on each of two sides of the concrete vault <br />per drawings. <br />2.04 CONNECTIONS <br />0 <br />C. <br />NG <br />The sump shall have the following connection sizes and types: <br />Furnished <br />Service Size Supplied <br />Connection Connection <br />Compressed Air Inlet 1/2 inch FNPT <br />Condensate liquid discharge 3/a inch FNPT <br />Pressure Equalizing Line 1/2 inch FNPT <br />The condensate liquid 'inlet to the sump shall be rated for at least 29.8 inches <br />mercury vacuum. <br />The liquid vent, brain and equalizing hose inside the sump shall be constructed of <br />reinforced heavy duty PVC hose. Compressed air shall be heavy duty nylon hose. <br />Pipe connections to the sump shall be made with Schedule 40 type 304 stainless <br />steel pipe. <br />1 •0 VM_ 1U1' <br />A. The Condesate Pump shall be a pneumatic, submersible pump Short AP 4 Auto <br />Pump as manufactured by QED with a 5 year warrantee or approved equal to <br />transfer liquids from the sump. A double diaphram pump is not acceptable and <br />will be rejected. <br />B. The pump and fittings shall be fabricated from stainless steel. No yellow metal or <br />material that can decompose in landfill gas/condensate service shall be used in <br />any part of the assembly. <br />2.06 COMPRESSED AIR SYSTEM <br />A.
