r <br />3.06 NANIEPLATES AND IDENTIRCATION <br />A. Provide contrast plastic embossing tape, adhesive -backed nameplates for all starters and <br />switches within electrical enclosures. Letter size shall be at least 3116 -inch high. <br />Provide laminoid nameplates for all distribution switches, breakers, lighting, and power <br />panels, showing proper and complete identification. Nameplates shall have black letters <br />on white background. Nameplate labels shall match labels on submittals. <br />3.07 BOXES <br />A. Support to the structure, independent of conduit attachment. <br />B. Boxes installed below -grade shall be installed flush with finished grade. <br />C. Boxes and covers in paved areas, roadways, or walkways shall be suitable for weights <br />to which they may be subjected. <br />D. Box Extensions: Not permitted. <br />E. Hazardous Areas: Boxes shall be applicable for location and hazardous atmosphere <br />present. <br />3.08 COVER PLATES <br />A. Shall fit tightly to box. <br />B. Shall not extend beyond sides of box on surface mounted boxes, unless covers have <br />no sharp comers or edges. <br />3.09 GROUNDING <br />A. Grounding shall be in compliance with NFPA 70 and ANSI C2. <br />B. The Contractor shall complete all grounding loops on the skid and to all equipment. <br />C. The field contractor will connect the ground wire to a ufer ground or ground rods to <br />complete the grounding circuit. <br />D. Ground each separately derived system neutral to nearest effectively grounded <br />building structural steel member or separate grounding electrode. <br />E. Bond together system neutrals, service equipment enclosures, exposed non -current - <br />carrying metal parts of electrical equipment, metal raceways, ground conductor in <br />raceways and cables, receptacle ground connections, and metal piping systems. <br />F.
