Junction boxes shown outside flush or surface mounted shall be watertight <br />all -welded construction with neoprene gasketed screwed covers NEMA <br />Type 12 minimum. <br />A. Provide engraved plastic adhesive backed nameplates for all starters and <br />switches. Letter size shall be at least 3/16 inch high with black letters on a <br />white background. Provide lamicoid nameplates for all distribution <br />switches, breakers, lighting and power panels, showing proper and complete <br />identification. <br />2.07 OUTLETS <br />A. Exposed outlet boxes shall be cast boxes and suitable plates. <br />B. Boxes for outdoor weatherproof receptacles shall be Type FD unilets with <br />screw hubs. <br />2.08 FUSES <br />A. Shall be high capacity, current limiting, low peak or dual element as <br />indicated. Dual element fuses shall be used for all motor loads. The <br />Contractor shall furnish the County, and for each switchboard, two sets of <br />spare fuses for each size used below 100 amps and one set for each size 100 <br />amps and above. <br />B. Approved manufacturers are: Bussman, Economy, Fuse and Chase- <br />Shawmut, or equivalent. <br />2.09 SWITCHES AND RECEPTACLES <br />A. Receptacles and caps shall be furnished in accordance with the following <br />table. Receptacles and caps as manufactured by Sierra, Bryant, and <br />Hubbell or equivalent will be acceptable.
