Safety switches, unless otherwise indicated on the drawings, shall be <br />heavy duty type, 600 volt, of the number of poles required. The switch <br />size shall be as required by code and as indicated on the drawings. Where <br />outside the building, the switches shall be rain tight type NEMA 12. <br />B. Switches shall be as manufactured by General Electric, Square D, <br />Westinghouse, or equivalent. <br />2.11 LIGHTING FIXTURES <br />A. Fixtures will be complete with lamps of proper wattage in accordance with <br />contract drawings. Provide all fittings, hangers, supports and other <br />necessary appurtenances. Fixtures shall be of one manufacturer and be <br />identical in design and appearance. <br />B. Fluorescent fixtures shall be UL approved and have protected ballasts, UL <br />Class "P" rated, C.B.M. approved, ETL tested. <br />2.12 LAMPS <br />A. Fluorescent lamps shall be T-12, rapid start unless otherwise noted. <br />Incandescent lamps shall be for the delivered voltage at the fixture, except <br />exterior lamps shall be 130 volts. <br />B. Approved manufacturers are: General Electric, Sylvania, Westinghouse. <br />2.13 GROUNDING <br />A. Elevation of each outlet shall be at floor plus 14 inches unless otherwise <br />noted. <br />D.
