PART 2 MATERIALS <br />2.01 HARDWARE <br />A. The Contractor shall use an Allen Bradley Micrologix 1500 1764- <br />24AWA-LRP PLC or approved equal and shall provide P.C. programming <br />and testing software. The Contractor shall provide access and/or <br />passwords to the Owner for all programming for this work. <br />B. A NM touch screen display module shall be provided to show the status <br />of the PLC, input, outputs, alarms, sequence of events and accumulated <br />alarms, to retrieve all other stored data, and to program user defined <br />values. The MMI shall be an Automation Direct EZ-S6C-F NEMA 4 or <br />approved equal and shall record alarm outages. <br />C. The PLC shall have an internal clock. <br />D. Provide an EEPROM with the PLC to store the program. <br />E. The Contractor shall provide and program a modem and provide PC <br />software for remote communication with the PLC. The telephone line <br />shall be fitted with a standard DSL type filter. <br />PART 3 EXECUTION <br />3.01 GENERAL <br />A. The Contractor shall submit a complete copy of the program with <br />unrestricted access by the owner for the owner's exclusive use to change <br />or modify the program after warrantee period and a complete printout of <br />the program. <br />B. The Contractor shall make use of subroutines where appropriate. The <br />program shall be easy to read, debug, and customize if necessary. All PLC <br />functions shall be identified. <br />C. The function of ladder rungs or groups of rungs shall be described in the <br />program. <br />D. The program shall contain, at a minimum, the following screens: <br />1. Setpoints including "current" and "change to" fields <br />2.
