During the course of this contract excavated refuse, soil mixed with refuse and <br />debris, hereafter referred to as "normal waste material", will require legal disposal. <br />B. If hazardous materials are excavated from the landfill, the Contractor's response <br />shall be conducted in. accordance with Section 5-1.02 of these Special Provisions. <br />C. Normal waste material shall. be disposed of in the active area of the landfill. <br />D. Disposal operations shall not create unsightly or unsanitary nuisances. <br />1.02 DISPOSAL COSTS <br />A. No disposal fees shall be imposed by the County for disposal of normal waste <br />materials provided they are deposited at the open face of the landfill at least 30 <br />minutes prior to the closing time of the landfill. <br />B. The cost for handling and transporting normal waste materials shall be included in <br />the Contractor's unit bid price for the item generating the waste. <br />1.03 REGULATORY COMPLIANCE <br />A.
