U <br />IJ <br />1 <br />11 <br />PART 3 EXECUTION <br />3.01 DISPOSAL OF REFUSE AND CONSTRUCTION DEBRIS <br />A. The Contractor shall dispose of all waste material each day. <br />B. The Contractor shall load waste material directly into a truck or trailer upon <br />removal from the trench or drilling operation. <br />C. The Contractor shall ensure that no waste material extends above the sides or rear <br />of the truck or trailer during transport. Any excavated material dropped during <br />transport shall be immediately picked up and disposed of properly at the <br />designated offsite landfill or onsite disposal area. <br />D. Materials that are listed as hazardous by a federal or state agency shall be <br />considered "Hazardous Materials" and handled accordingly. <br />3.02 PROTECTION <br />A. The Contractor shall take all necessary precautions to preclude the accidental <br />discharge of fuel, oil, etc. and to prevent such accidents that may endanger the <br />environment. The Contractor will be responsible for the cost of remediating the <br />results of any such discharges or accidents. Spilled diesel fuel or oil will require <br />excavation and soil disposal at a CIass 1 landfill at the Contractor's expense. <br />Material will be manifested and signed for by the Contractor. <br />PART 4 MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT <br />4.01 MEASUREMENT <br />A. Separate measurement for payment will not be made for work or materials <br />specified in this Section. <br />A.
