The Contractor shall fumish all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals <br />necessary to perform site grading required for the flare station, drilling <br />pads, and other grading shown on the Drawings and specified herein. Fill <br />materials shall be compacted to 95 percent of the maximum density at 0- <br />3% above optimum moisture in roadways and the flare pad area, and to at <br />least 90 percent of the maximum density at 0-3% above optimum moisture <br />in other areas of the site, as determined by ASTM D1557A. Grades <br />indicated on plans shall be held to within 0.05 feet. <br />10 0 �09. L <br />A. The Contractor shall submit to the Engineer for review a list of the <br />construction equipment to be used on the project. <br />A. Soil is available on-site for site grading. Contractor is to arrange for <br />retrieval of soil at his cost. <br />PART 3 EXECUTION <br />3.01 CONSTRUCTION <br />A. The Contractor shall excavate and backfill in a manner and sequence that <br />wiII provide proper drainage at all times. The Contractor shall remove all <br />water, including run-on collected from rainwater encountered during <br />excavation, to a location approved by the Engineer, by pumps, drains, and <br />other approved methods. The Contractor shall prevent water from <br />ponding in site excavations and site construction area. <br />B. Excavation shall be performed within the limits of the work to the lines, <br />grades, and elevations indicated and specified herein.
