A copy -of the inspection-report+s-enclosed for your
review.
The purpose of the inspection was to check the site facilities to assist in drafting revised
waste discharge requirements (WDRs) for the facility. As noted in the inspection report,
all landfill facilities appeared to be functional and in good condition. Further, all landfill
monitoring points appeared to be representative, with the exception of monitoring well
(G-1), which has been historically dry and is being scheduled for replacement. No
significant change in monitoring locations appeared to be warranted based on the
inspection.
Revised WDRs for the North County Landfill were adopted at the 29 January 2010
meeting of our Board. We will be sending you a formal notice and copy of the adopted
WDRs shortly once they have been finalized with a new order number.
9
ave )py questions, please call me at (916) 464-4641.
s Control Engineer
Title 27 Permitting and Mining
Enclosure
cc: Gino Yekta, California Integrated Waste Management Board, Sacramento
Robert McClellon, San Joaquin County Department of Environmental Health, Stockton
R5S Sections\Stormwater Certs Permitting Title 27\_Staff\MoodyJ\COUNTIES\San Joaquin\North County LF\Inspection\lnsp_cvr.doc
California Environmental Protection Agency
caRecycled Paper
