The landfill was operating and no violations were <br />observed. The active face was well organized and maintained. Vegetated side slopes of the <br />WMUs were in great shape and had recently been mowed by sheep. The cover showed no <br />signs of erosion or channeling from the previous winter. Interim cover was installed over <br />active module. Leachate collection system operating; landfill gas system operating. The <br />landfill is in very good shape. <br />SUMMARY: <br />Following a better than average winter, the landfill appeared to be in excellent condition. <br />Vegetated slopes were thick and robust. Violations or areas of concern were not noted during <br />this site inspection. <br />1 <br />TODD A.
