Other information as requested by the Engineer. PART 4 PUMP INSTALLATION A. Contractor shall install the dedicated well pump in each groundwater monitoring well in accordance the manufacture's specification in the presence of the Engineer. Contractor shall tie the lead wire, safety cable and discharge tubing to the casing every five (5) feet with zip ties or as approved by the Engineer. Contractor shall install the well cap and hang the pump in the well casing at the appropriate depth as determined by the Engineer. PART 5 ACCEPTANCE A. County will accept wells installed in accordance to the specifications. County will not accept a well installed without EHD inspection. Contractor will be responsible for damages caused to the well casing due to gross negligence during drilling and well installation. Contractor shall not drop any tools or bailers in the well casing.. B. If the Count disapproves County pp a well, then the Contractor shall. 1. Repair defective components of the well. If defective components are not repairable, then the Contractor shall abandon that well and install a new well, or re -drill the well found to be unacceptable, at no additional cost to the County. PART 6 MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT 6.01 GENERAL A. Payment shall be full compensation for labor, materials, tools, equipment overhead for each task or line item listed in the bid sheet. B. Partial payment will not be made for each project. C.
