FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY <br />1.0 INTRODUCTION <br />A Closure Enterprise Fund has been established to satisfy the <br />financial mechanisms requirements under Title 14, Chapter 5, <br />Section 3.5, Closure/Postclosure Regulations, and Subtitle D. <br />2.0 CURRENT CLOSURE COST ESTIMATES <br />The current cost estimates submitted with this plan indicate that <br />capital closure cost is estimated at $966,890. <br />FINANCIAL ASSURANCE NEEDS <br />3.0 <br />Closure/ Postclosure Regulations specify that a 20% over -run factor <br />be added to the capital closure cost. <br />Financial Assurance Needs <br />Capital $ , 966,890 <br />Overrun $ 194.110 <br />(20%) <br />TOTAL $1,161,000 <br />4.0 CURRENT FUND BALANCE <br />As of January, 1995, the calculated amount of $1,161,000 needed for <br />closure is available in the Closure Fund. <br />24 <br />
