Tarps may not be used <br /> over waste at one location for more than 4 consecutive days. <br /> Tarps shall not be used in adverse weather (such as windy <br /> days) which would prevent adequate waste coverage. Tarps <br /> with holes or tears are not allowed to be used for daily <br /> cover. <br /> Note: Wet weather problems have yet to be addressed by COS. <br /> (3) Total litter content in green waste cover must not exceed <br /> 5%. Residential wastes are prohibited. <br /> (4) If a COS representative is not present at pre-arranged <br /> inspections with EHD then the COS is responsible for <br /> contacting EHD for any questions regarding inspection <br /> reports. COS is responsible for timely corrective action <br /> required at their landfills as well as all communication <br /> necessary with contracted workers to achieve same. Problems <br /> between COS and contracted workers regarding communications <br /> are the responsibility of COS and will in no way excuse <br /> failure to perform required corrective action at landfills <br /> or failure to follow demonstration project plan guidelines. <br /> EHD will call Bob Murdoch (COS) if further information <br /> regarding landfills (ie. GWADC project concerns, etc. ) is <br /> required by EHD. <br /> COS "Revisions to Alternate Daily Cover/Green Waste Grinding <br /> Project" dated June 13, 1996 will be inserted into COS original <br /> GWADC Plan along with this conditional approval letter.
