El Dorado <br /> Stockton, CA 95201-0388 <br /> Environmental Health Division (EHD) received a letter from the City of Stockton Dept. <br /> of Public Works (COS) regarding continued use of Covertech-440 at French Camp <br /> Landfill (FCL). COS stated plans for addressing previous problems with Covertech- <br /> 440 use. EHD approves the COS's request to continue using Covertech-440 at FCL <br /> only under the following conditions: <br /> 1 . A new Alternative Daily Cover Plan must be submitted to EHD by September <br /> 1, 1995. <br /> 2. Back-up tarps must be verified on site by EHD at FCL's next routine <br /> inspection (June 1995). <br /> 3. The plan for Covertech-440 monitoring must be followed as specified in COS <br /> letter dated June 1, 1995. <br /> 4. If cover problems using Covertech-440 are observed by EHD, soil cover of <br /> six inches will be required.
