r <br />b. Contingency plan if blanket is torn and cannot be <br />repaired by the end of day. <br />An intact back-up geo-synthetic cover material will be <br />used as a substitute. If one isn't available or is not <br />large enough to cover the entire working face, soil will <br />be used either entirely or as a supplement, so as to <br />provide a complete cover. if soil cannot be used for this <br />purpose because of muddy condition the City will contact <br />the Local Enforcement Agency for permission to use <br />plastic cover material either to cover the working face <br />entirely or in combination vith an intact geo-synthetic <br />material. <br />Minor damage to the blanket will be repaired by sewing or <br />stapling the torn areas or with the use of "sail or duct <br />tape ". <br />c. Contingency plan if soil cover cannot be used on <br />Fridays of each week because of muddy conditions. <br />On Friday, of each week, when muddy conditions make it <br />impossible to cover the greenwaste with soil cover, the <br />City will request LEA permission to use geo-synthetic <br />cover material and/or plastic cover materials in lieu of <br />soil material. All geo-synthetic cover material and <br />plastic cover material vill be removed prior to placing <br />new greenwaste. Adequate soil cover material will be <br />available to cover the weekly greenwaste deposit. <br />n <br />
