October 25, 1993 <br />TO: Mike Miller, Acting Deputy Public Works Director, SW&B <br />FROM: Bob Ching, Deputy Director, Planning Division <br />NOTICE,F EXEMPTION AND GENERALCONFORMITY <br />FOR DAILY COVER <br />DEMONSTRATION PROJECT <br />With regard to environmental clearance, it has been determined that <br />this project is categorically exempt under the State CEQA <br />Guidelines [Sections: 15301(8) and 15306], as specified on the <br />attached Notice of Exemption. <br />In accordance with Section 65402 of the Government Code, this <br />activity/project has been determined not to apply to the General <br />Plank and, therefore, no determination as to conformity with the <br />General Plan is necessary. <br />Since the proposed activity is authorized by the Public Works <br />Director and does not require City Council action, the Community <br />Development Director is authorized to prepare and file the attached <br />Final Notice of Exemption. The Notice of Exemption will be filed <br />with the County Clerk for posting in order to initiate a 35 -day <br />statute of limitations on court challenges.
