The results of the 5-year COC sampling conducted during the monitoring period indicates
that excluding the metals, the only COC detected was bis(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate, a
confirmed laboratory contaminant, in all groundwater, leachate, and surface water
samples. In addition, only one MCL exceedance, for arsenic, was identified in
groundwater monitoring well MW-6A. However, considering the fact that well MW-6A
is a background well and is located several hundred feet from the site, the MCL
exceedance does not appear to be related to a release from the landfill.
The field screening results from soil-pore gas monitoring probes indicates that no
methane was measured in soil-pore gas monitoring probes during the monitoring period.
8.0 REFERENCES
California Regional Water Quality Control Board, Central Valley Region, 2007, "Order
No. R5-2007-0046 Waste Discharge Requirements for Forward Inc.
