KLEINFELDER <br /> The CQA Plan is meant to supplement the Closure Plan developed by the SJDWP, and as such <br /> the SJDPW will serve as engineer for the final cover project. <br /> ® 1.4 DEFINITIONS <br /> This section defines terms used in this QA/QC plan. <br /> Barrier layer - The low permeability layer of the final cover, also referred to as "clay" layer. <br /> Construction Quality Assurance Monitor - Also referred to as the "Monitor" or "QA/QC <br /> Monitor" or "QA/QC Technician." The firm or individual responsible for performing the <br /> third party tasks as specified in this document. Kleinfelder Inc will serve a third parry CQA <br /> Monitor. <br /> Design Engineer - SJDPW will be responsible for the design and preparation of the project <br /> construction drawings. <br /> E - The firm or individual responsible for performing the QA/QC tasks as specified in <br /> this document. <br /> Earthwork - An activity involving the use of soil materials as defined in the Closure Plan. <br /> Earthwork Contractor - Also referred to as the "Contractor." The person or firm responsible <br /> for earthwork related activities.
