At each landfill,Kleinfelder's assessment <br /> is that the likely foreseeable scenario requiring corrective action is impact to groundwater by landfill gas. <br /> Therefore,the proposed remediation scenarios,for the purpose of financial assurance,are implementation of <br /> additional landfill gas control. <br /> This information will be submitted to the California Integrated Waste Management Board(CIWMB)along with <br /> our proposed method to demonstrate financial assurance. In the past,CIWMB staff has required a letter from <br /> Regional Water Quality Control Board staff stating whether estimated costs appear reasonable. Please review <br /> the enclosed estimates,and if you find them reasonable,we would greatly appreciate a letter stating this for our <br /> transmittal to the CIWMB.
