intense storm events. When flows in the South Paddy Creek are high, water flows <br /> from the creek over a weir into the basin. The basin is equipped with an outflow <br /> pump that drains the basin to South Paddy Creek after the storm event has <br /> passed. The pump is designed to operate on a 15-minute cycle when sufficient <br /> water is in the basin and flows are low enough in the creek such that they are not <br /> flowing over the weir to the basin. <br /> 3.0 POSTCLOSURE LAND USE <br /> Postclosure land use includes undeveloped and non-irrigated open space and <br /> grazing. <br /> 4.0 RESPONSIBILITY FOR POSTCLOSURE MAINTENANCE <br /> San Joaquin County Public Works Department, Solid Waste Division (SWD) is <br /> responsible for all aspects of postclosure maintenance for the Harney Lane <br /> Sanitary Landfill.
