This is included in Appendix I. Groundwater Groundwater quality has improved, indicated by the significant reduction in concentration of VOCs related to landfill gas. MW-1 (Up-gradient): No general water quality parameters were exceeded in MW-1 during the first or second semester 2013. Two VOCs (Benzene and Toluene) were detected in MW-1 at trace concentrations during the first semester sampling on February 1, 2013. Benzene and Toluene were also detected in trace concentrations during resampling on March 1, 2013. No VOCs were detected during the second semester 2013. A decreasing trend in turbidity and increasing trends in EC and Chloride were observed in MW-1 during the first and second semester 2013. No other trends were observed in MW-1 during 2013.
