Stage No. 3: General Field Wash - Personnel shall wash and rinse face and hands with soap <br /> and water before leaving the site and/or eating. If a change of clothing is necessary, it shall be <br /> done at this time. <br /> 6.3 Decontamination Fluids and Investigation-Derived Waste Disposal <br /> Decontamination water and drill cuttings will be placed in appropriate containers. Disposal <br /> methods will be determined after characterizations have been completed. Solid waste generated <br /> during decontamination and field activities (i.e., paper towels, plastic tarps, used PPE) will be <br /> removed from the Site and disposed as refuse/trash. <br /> 6.4 Vehicles <br /> Typically vehicles will not be allowed inside the exclusion zone. If vehicles are required in the exclusion <br /> zone (e.g., drill rigs) the following procedures will be used. Personnel will wash or remove boots and <br /> change to dry clothing prior to vehicle entry. Non-disposable equipment will be washed or bagged before <br /> placement into field vehicles. Drill rigs will be decontaminated with detergent solution and rinsed with <br /> water before leaving the site. <br /> 7.0 EMERGENCY PROCEDURES <br /> A list of Emergency Response contacts and telephone numbers for applicable local off-site emergency <br /> responders is provided in Table 6. The following emergency response equipment is required for this <br /> project: <br /> ® Fire Extinguisher(s): ❑Type A ❑Type B ❑Type C ®Type ABC <br /> ® Air Monitoring: ® PID ❑Air Sampling Pumps ® CG/02 meter <br /> ❑ Minirae ❑ H2S Meter ❑ Radiation Meter <br /> ❑ Drager Pump w/Sample Tubes ® Other: LEL Meter <br /> ❑ Eyewash(Note:portable eyewash bottle) <br /> ❑ SCBA <br /> ® First Aid Kit <br /> ❑ Shower(Note:for acids and caustics) <br /> ❑ Personal Flotation Device(s) <br /> ❑ Windsock <br /> ® Stop Watch&Thermoscan for Measuring Heart Rate and Heat Stress <br /> ❑ Global Positioning System <br /> ® Other: Fan and generator to remove methane-bearing vapors from work area,as needed. <br /> As a minimum,the project shall have the following equipment available during field activities: <br /> • A first aid kit (mandatory, including adhesive Band-Aids, gauze, tape, gloves, CPR shield, <br /> triangle bandage)shall be available in the Support Zone at all times. <br /> Check additional items required for the site. <br /> 18 <br />
