Odor mpact Minimization Plan
Linden, CA
0 Introduction
The Scotts Company receives its green waste from Sacramento Feed
Stock. Feedstock mostly consists of green material, yard trimmings, and wood
waste as they are defined in 14 CCR 17852. All incoming feed stock is checked
for physical contaminants. Green waste is stored in designated areas until
ground by a contractor. After the green waste is processed it is stored in rows of
sWiliva-moV4, urie-,4Wa#ffarab or front-end loader to
achieve temperatures of 131 F and over. Compost is processed after its
composting period (8-12 weeks) trough a 1/2inch screen. Over size particles
obtained from screening are placed back in to the un -ground green waste pile to
start the process again.
Finish product is transported to the mixing pad to be incorporated with
other ingredients and form our potting soils.
LOT. -r -mi, =-1 mmm, rmp
9 Proximity of odor receptors.
The closest receptors will be on site personnel who will be on site dai
monitoring the status of the operation/facility.
