Odor t Minimization Plan <br />Linden, CA <br />Ah - Pad Maintenance. Weekly inspections are conducted for litter, standing <br />water, fugitive dust. If any of this are encounter they will dealt with <br />accordingly. <br />- Wastewater pond control. All Storm water is diverted to the authorized <br />discharged point by the natural land geometry. Storm water sampling and <br />reporting is conducted in accordance with the company's storm water <br />general permit. <br />- Feedstock will be processed within seven days of arrival. Since most of <br />the feedstock is composed of mostly branches and leaves odor problems <br />have not been detected. Feedstock with grass clippings and excessive <br />moisture will be mixed with dry material (tailings). <br />11 <br />- EQUIPMENT <br />If equipment break down may occur, back up equipment is available at <br />facility and or through a local equipment rental company (Hertz). <br />- 11TATER <br />Water truck is available at the facility at all times. Also two 10, 000 -water <br />tanks are available for back up. <br />POWER. <br />All equipment is powered by diesel engines and a 500 -gallon back up <br />diesel tanks is available on site for back up. <br />- PERSONNEL <br />Additional personnel trained on the Compost operation are available on <br />site. In addition to this an Employment Agency is also available in case of <br />being necessary. <br />This Odor Impact minimization plan (OIMP) has been developed to <br />provide guidance to on-site personnel in handling, storage, and removal of <br />compostable materials, in accordance with 14 CCR 17863.4. This OIMP will be <br />revised as necessary to reflect any changes in the design or operation.
