Brinton <br />Director of Public Works <br />City of Manteca <br />1001 West Center Street <br />Manteca, California 95336 <br />Subject: AMENDMENTS TO NONDISPOSAL FACILITY ELEMENT <br />Dear Mr. Brinton: <br />On May 22, 1997, the San Joaquin County Integrated Waste Management Task Force <br />reviewed the amendments to the Manteca Nondisposal Facility Element concerning <br />the compost facility proposed by Biorecycling Technologies Incorporated (BTI), <br />located at 2403 West Louise Avenue, in the City of Manteca, and inclusion of <br />the Forward, Inc., recycling and compost facility, located at 9999 South <br />Austin Road, Manteca, in accordance with Section 41734, Division 31, of the <br />Public Resources Code. <br />The Task Force has concluded that the proposed amendments are consistent with <br />the goals and policies established by the Task Force for San Joaquin County <br />integrated waste management. <br />Any questions should be directed to Tom Horton, San Joaquin County Integrated <br />Waste Manager, at (209)468-3066. <br />incerely, % <br />GEORGE L.
