%;IGRAMITZIMAY iTRAFFIC LTMYTATrON ZONA JANUARYr lr..
applicable to all improvements defined herein
shall be ,determined by Placer County. Maintenance
of the improvements described herein, and located
within placer County limits, shall be the respon-
sibility of Placer County.
(b) n_ n® NETWORK TMPRoyLMENTB
Road network improvements to be funded by this TL
Zone program are listed below and are further
described in the Granite Bay Community Plan. Xn
many instances, this program is intended to fund
only that part of a project which lies within the
Community Plan area; other parts of such a project
would be funded by other Aources or by similar
programs within other, adjacentjurisdictions. In
some cases, this program is intended to fund only
a part of a given improvement project -- such as
future widening from 2 to 4 lanes or a specified
fraction of total cost.
The costs of right-of-way have not been included
in project cost estimates or in project funding
except as noted for the Rocklin Road Extension
Project (Project No. 7, below) . Right-of-way ac-
quisition will be accomplished by required dedica-
tions and/or purchase using other funding sources.
Credit against fee obligations pursuant to this
Ordinance is not given for the value of dedicated
right-of-way.
The first three projects listed below are part of
a "regionally significant" road network. Funding
for these projects is by a uniform trip-end fee of
$74 throughout the Granite Bay TL Zone area.
Many of these project cost estimates' are for an
increment of widening (such as, from 2 to 4 lanes
or spot improvements) rather than full construc-
tion. The remaining portions of the ultimate road
improvement will be accomplished by other means
including: a) incorporation of existing roadways,
) "frontage" improvements required of land
development projects, and c) construction using
other funding sources. Contributions from this TL
Zone program are partial subsidies which recognize
benefit beyond the immediate "frontage" area.
Specific areas of benefit from which fees would be
collected for the several improvement projects are
shown in Exhibit B.
3
