The cable is coiled on the ground <br />and, at times, sits in small puddles of water. The main electrical panel on the northwest corner <br />of the main building has been damaged and pulled out of the holding brackets. When electrical <br />hazards are identified, measures to abate such conditions shall be taken. Identified hazardous <br />electrical conditions in permanent wiring or temporary wiring shell be corrected in cooperation <br />with the authority enforcing the electrical code. UFC Sec. 85.104 <br />Fire extinguishers have not been serviced and many are on the ground. Others are not visible <br />due to storage practices. There is no extinguisher in the fuel dispensing area. Mount <br />extinguishers where readily accessible, with top not to exceed five (5) feet from floor level. UFC <br />Sec. 10.501a. Service and tag each extinguisher annually and after each use. UFC Sec. <br />10.505a. <br />The emergency shut-off sign for the fuel dispensers is not in a visible location. A clearly <br />labeled, manually operated pump master switch she#be provided in an approved location within <br />75 feet of, but not nearer than 15 feet to, any dispenser. Where such master switch is not <br />visible from a1/ dispensers, the location thereof shall be indicated by approved signs. UFC Sec. <br />79.903i. Signs identifying the pump master switch shall be labeled EMERGENCY PUMP <br />SHUTOFF. UFC Sec.79903(i2l. <br />The lumber waste pile in the center, west area of the yard measured 50 feet wide by 200 feet <br />long. Driveways shall be spaced so a maximum grid system unit of 50 feet by 150 feet is <br />produced. UFC, Sec. 30.102c <br />The closest fire hydrant is 350 feet from the only entrance to the facility. There is only one <br />entrance into the facility which is located on Weber Avenue. From the entrance on Weber <br />Avenue to the waste storage piles inside the yard is approximately 300 feet. The offices and <br />work shop building are 400 feet from the nearest hydrant. Approved water -supply and fire <br />hydrants capable of supplying the required fire flow shall be provided to within 150 feet of ell <br />portions of the yard. UFC Sec. 30.104x. When any portion of the facility or building protected <br />is in excess of 150 feet from a water supply on a public street, as measured by an approved <br />route around the exterior of the facility or building, on-site fire hydrants and mains capable of <br />supplying the required fire flow shall be provided when required by the chief. UFC Sec. 10.401 <br />A Notice of Violation has been issued to the owners detailing these problems. We will follow <br />up on this until we get compliance.
