Up to 250
tons per day of refuse is received and processed. The
material is dumped on the concrete pavement where the cans,
metals, plastic, paper, wood, and cardboard is sorted. Cans, metals, rock and rubble and other
recyclables are stored on site and shipped to market on a
regular basis. Any material which can not be recycled is
hauled to the Forward Inc. Landfill for disposal.
_station has a current -capacity
per day of unsorted refuse. This is based on a design
capacity of 1000 cubic yards per day at an average density of
500 lbs per cubic yard, and the ability of the baler to handle
• to 18 tonsper hourof incoming material.
Approximately 99 per cent of the current incoming waste stream
is recycled.
825 Sonoma Ave. Post Office Box 4600 Santa Rosa, California 95402 (707) 544-0784
135 Palmyra Street Auburn, California 95603 (916) 823-2853
1500 East Tropicana, Suite 125 Las Vegas, Nevada 89119 (702) 798-1007
