YPgU,IN Planning Department ' „r <br /> STAFF <br /> •�, .. �P.. <br /> REPORT B/A 6-12-75 <br /> Faa meeting of <br /> ITEM NO. 11 MODIFICATION OF UP-2239 of FORWARD, INC, , to <br /> consider possible modification of Use Permit No. <br /> 2239, approved on June 7, 1962 , on- the north side <br /> of Lovelace Road, from 2600 ' to 2900 ' east of <br /> Airport Way, south of Stockton, in a GA-5 (General <br /> Agriculture) Zone. <br /> MEMORANDUM <br /> TO: BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br /> FROM: PLANNING DEPARTMENT <br /> RE: FORWARD INC. , Transfer Station on Lovelace Road <br /> PROBLEM <br /> On March 14, 1975 this office received a copy of a petition protesting existing <br /> conditions at the transfer station located on the north side of Lovelace Road, <br /> from 2600 ' to 2900 ' east of Airport Way, north of Manteca. The transfer <br /> station is operated by Forward Inc. , P.O. Box 6336, Stockton. <br /> HISTORY <br /> The petition refers to conditions of approval of Use Permit No. U-72-237 <br /> approved on March 23, 1972 by the Board of Adjustment "to enlarge existing <br /> refuse transfer station. " <br /> Condition No. 1 of the petition is actually a portion of Standard Condition <br /> No. 2 which refers to the "Exhibit A. " The other conditions quoted are <br /> actually Conditions No. 6 and 7 of that permit. <br /> In addition to the Standard Conditions the permit was conditioned as follows : <br /> 4) Approval of the Local Health District <br /> 5) Department of Public Works <br /> a. Paving to be of concrete <br /> b. Approval as to the length of wall to be replaced and the new wall <br /> 6) Building Department <br /> a. Complete structure to be designed by an engineer <br /> 7) Planning Department <br /> a. Landscape plan to be approved <br /> b. Color of walls to be approved <br /> The existing transfer station was approved on June 7, 1962 by the Planning <br /> Commission subject to the Standard Conditions , Sometime in December 1970 <br /> or January 1971 a fire occurred which gutted the building and left only <br />
