Weight Volume Records
The County keeps records of each transaction on the scalehouse computer. The
procedures for entering data and transfer of the data to the County record keeping
system is described in HI.C.4.,above. This currently includes weights of Automated
Disposal vehicles and selected Non-Automated Disposal trucks, and cubic yard
volumes for Non-Automated Disposal users. The weight quantities for incoming
waste is compared to weight of outbound transfers to obtain a conversion factor for
the cubic yard records (the balance). The data is used for invoicing, record keeping,
operations planning and accounting. The County has a number of waste quantity
reports that can be generated either at the site or in the County offices. The data
is used to compile County annual waste quantity reports.
The Station expansion will include increased recycling activities and additional scales
to weigh outbound recyclables. 1hese quantities will be included in reports.
2. Special Occurrences
Special occurrences will be logged in book at the Station.
3. Inspection of Records
The records for the Station will be kept in the O&M building.
