2.4.3 Recycling Drop-Off <br /> The Recycling Drop-Off Area is located east of the Transfer Building. This area will be used <br /> by the general public to deposit recyclable materials into designated bins and will serve as a <br /> "redemption center" for beverage containers. <br /> The Recycling Drop-Off Area will also be used for sorting and stockpiling of yard waste before <br /> it is transported to a composting facility. This area may also be used to salvage and process <br /> materials, and provide for materials exchange of reusable items. <br /> An area designated for Household Hazardous Materials will receive batteries and waste oil. <br /> 2.4.4 Hazardous Material Storage <br /> A hazardous waste storage locker will provide temporary storage for hazardous waste detected <br /> under the Hazardous Waste Exclusion Program being enforced at the station. The building will include a lunchroom, locker rooms, and <br /> restrooms. The office area will be air conditioned and the maintenance area will be provided <br /> with radiant heaters. Roll-up doors will be provided at all service bays. <br /> The Maintenance Building will provide service and minor repair for the transfer trucks and the <br /> equipment operating at the station. <br /> 2.4.8 Employee/Visitor Parking <br /> Parking for employees and visitors is located north of the Office/Maintenance Building and can <br /> be accessed from both the entrance and east exit roads. <br /> C-10 <br />
