Limit noise -generating construction activities to the hours of 7:00 am. to 5:00 <br />p.m , Monday through Friday. <br />Locate fixed or portable noise sources, such as air compressors and concrete <br />pumpers, as far as possible from the property line. <br />Equip all internal combustion engine -driven equipment with mufflers that are in <br />good condition. <br />G. BIOTICS <br />(1) POTENTIALLY SIGNIFICANT IMPACT: PRESENCE OF SQUIRRELS RATS AND <br />FLIES <br />Due to the nature of solid waste handling activities, squirrels, rats, and flies are <br />attracted to the existing facility. LIGHT AND GLARE <br />(1) POTENTIALLY SIGNIFICANT IMPACT: LIGHT AND GLARE ON NEARBY <br />RESIDENTIAL PROPERTIES <br />Although the transfer facility is not expected to operate during nighttime hours, <br />it is likely to utilize fighting for security purposes. In addition, area lighting may <br />be utilized in the outdoor recycling area and transfer trailer parking area <br />Finding: <br />Changes or alterations have been required in, or incorporated into, the project <br />which avoid or substantially lessen the significant environmental effect as <br />identified in the Final EIR.
