r <br /> 0.1 <br /> The LFA recommends that the changes listed below be incorporated <br /> into the permit revision. <br /> 1. Hours of Operation: <br /> Monday - Saturday 4: 00 A.M. - 5: 00 P.M. <br /> (Change from 6: 00 A.M. - 4: 00 P.M. on 1878 permit) <br /> 2. Tonnage of waste received to be increased from 25 tons to <br /> 300 tons. The expanded transfer station will have a design <br /> capacity of 1000 Tons per day. <br /> 3. Expansion of the existing area will be used exclusively for <br /> transfer and recycling operations . This expansion does not <br /> include any purchase of land. <br /> 4. Proposed facility modifications : <br /> a. Relocating the existing stationary compactor to the <br /> area presently used for tipping and consolidating <br /> refuse. <br /> b. Installing a high capacity compactor in the area <br /> presently used for tipping and consolidating refuse. <br /> c. The tipping area will expand from approximately 35 feet <br /> to accommodate the new expansion area. <br /> d. Installation of a new materials recovery/transfer <br /> facility building. This building will be enclosed as <br /> required in the City of Stockton land use permit 56-88 . <br /> e. Installation of a weigh scale. <br /> f. The owner/operator shall completely enclose the portion <br /> of the proposed transfer station that includes the <br /> tipping area, the waste storage area, the stationary <br /> compactors , and the transfer trailers and roll-off <br /> containers being loaded. All wastes shall be removed <br /> from the premises within twenty-four (24) hours of <br /> delivery to the site, except the recyclable materials <br /> which may be held in closed containers . <br /> 5. The three existing underground storage tanks will meet the <br /> requirements of California Code of Regulation, Title 23, <br /> Chapter 3, Sub Chapter 26 . These underground storage tanks <br /> will be regulated by the LEA. <br /> 6` Only non-hazardous-wastes are accepted. (This is a change <br /> in nomenclature only) . <br /> 7. A hazardous waste exclusion program has been implemented at <br /> the site. (Appendix A) <br />
