r 0.1 The LFA recommends that the changes listed below be incorporated into the permit revision. 1. Hours of Operation: Monday - Saturday 4: 00 A.M. - 5: 00 P.M. (Change from 6: 00 A.M. - 4: 00 P.M. on 1878 permit) 2. Tonnage of waste received to be increased from 25 tons to 300 tons. The expanded transfer station will have a design capacity of 1000 Tons per day. 3. Expansion of the existing area will be used exclusively for transfer and recycling operations . This expansion does not include any purchase of land. 4. Proposed facility modifications : a. Relocating the existing stationary compactor to the area presently used for tipping and consolidating refuse. b. Installing a high capacity compactor in the area presently used for tipping and consolidating refuse. c. The tipping area will expand from approximately 35 feet to accommodate the new expansion area. d. Installation of a new materials recovery/transfer facility building. This building will be enclosed as required in the City of Stockton land use permit 56-88 . e. Installation of a weigh scale. f. The owner/operator shall completely enclose the portion of the proposed transfer station that includes the tipping area, the waste storage area, the stationary compactors , and the transfer trailers and roll-off containers being loaded. All wastes shall be removed from the premises within twenty-four (24) hours of delivery to the site, except the recyclable materials which may be held in closed containers . 5. The three existing underground storage tanks will meet the requirements of California Code of Regulation, Title 23, Chapter 3, Sub Chapter 26 . These underground storage tanks will be regulated by the LEA. 6` Only non-hazardous-wastes are accepted. (This is a change in nomenclature only) . 7. A hazardous waste exclusion program has been implemented at the site. (Appendix A)
