FINDINGS : <br /> A. This existing facility is a small volume transfer station open to <br /> commercial vehicles only. The station consists of several buildings <br /> surrounded by a paved lot situated on a 32 acre parcel . The main <br /> building is divided up into a 1400 sq, ft , newsprint room, 2112 <br /> sq. ft. fibre processing room and a 1400 sq. ft. high grade storage <br /> room. Vehicles are directed to the fibre room dumping floor where <br /> materials are separated by hand. Non -salvagable waste materials <br /> are loaded by skip loader into a metal drop box and disposed of <br /> the same day at an approved sanitary landfill site. <br /> The facility receives an annual average of 25 tons per day, on a, <br /> six day per week basis . Hours of operation are 6 :00 a. , to 4:00 <br /> p .m. Monday through Saturday Wastes received at the site include <br /> the following: <br /> 1. Commercial solid wastes . <br /> 2 . Residential newsprint materials . <br /> 3. Industrial solid wastes . <br /> B. There are no proposed changes in the facility' s existing operation <br /> which will be implemented within the next five years . <br /> C. Operations and design prior to August ' 15 , s1977 were conducted as <br /> specified by the Report of Station Information dated October 18, <br /> 1977 and November 15 , 1977which are hereby made a part of this <br /> permit. <br /> This permit is gfgn ted solely to the operator named above,'and is not transferable. Upon a change of <br /> operator, this permit is subject to revocation. Upon a significant change in design or operation. from <br /> that described' in this permit or in l itachments thereto for the existing design and operation of a <br /> facility operating immediately prfor to August 15, 1977, or from the approved intended 'design and <br /> operation” of a facility which wag not operating prior to August 15, 1977, or which herein is`granted <br /> a .permit modification, this permit is subject to revocation, suspension, modification or other <br /> appropriate action. <br /> This permit does not authorize the operation of any facility contrary to the State Minimum Standards <br /> for Solid Waste Handling and Disposal.
