These <br />mitigation measures are listed below. <br />Statement of Fact: <br />This impact will be reduced by the following: <br />If necessary, as determined by the Airport Land Use Commission after operations begin, <br />bird netting, a noise system, or other means to ward off birds shall be installed. <br />B. VEGETATION AND WILDLIFE RESOURCES <br />B.1. Potentialiv Significant Impact: Potential direct mortality of the San Joaquin kit fox during <br />construction and ground disturbing activities. <br />Finding: <br />Changes or alterations have been required in, or incorporated into, the project which avoid or <br />substantially lessen the significant environmental effect as identified in the Final EIR. <br />Statement of Fact: <br />This impact will be reduced by the following: <br />Not more than 60 days prior to construction, a professional biologist retained by the <br />applicant shall conduct a preconstruction survey of the site for the presence of the San <br />Joaquin kit fox. If any kit foxes are found, precautions specified in Chapter 4.2, Condition <br />4.2-4, of the Final EIR shall be taken. <br />B.2.
