See the Station
Capacity Analysis in Appendix F for the tipping floor storage capacity calculation. All residual
waste storage will be inside the MRF/Transfer Building.
C. Materials Processing and Volume Reduction
(1) Size Reduction QR=fiQns
Except for baling, there will be no size reduction operations at the MRF/Transfer Building such
as shredding. Size reduction win however take place as part of the wood and yard waste
composting operation as described in the Report of Composting Site Information for this facility
included in Section 2 of this Report of Facility Information.
(2) Transformation Processes
There will be no transformation processes at the facility.
(3) Compaction_and/or Baling Qpmfions
A baler is proposed for use at this facility for the baling of paper, cardboard, plastic and
aluminum.
