following categories for separating and sorting: <br /> • Curbside vehicle loads and paper rich commercial vehicle loads will be sorted on <br /> sorting lines. <br /> • Commercial vehicle loads rich in a single non-paper recyclable and self-haul <br /> vehicle loads rich in a single recyclable will be unloaded in designated areas on <br /> the tipping floor and sorted. <br /> • All other commercial and self-haul vehicle loads will be sorted on the tipping <br /> floor. <br /> • Concentrated loads or recyclable papers or other materials will be processed by <br /> baling without sorting. <br /> Sorting on the sorting line will be by pickers on both sides of the conveyor to ensure that <br /> materials which are recyclable are efficiently removed. The recovered materials are dropped <br /> into storage bays or bins located beneath the sorting line. As bays are filled, the recovered <br /> materials are directed to storage areas or to the baling pit. No sorting will take place at <br /> the buy back center. <br /> (2) Storage of Salvaged or Recyclable Matgrials <br /> (--,-.,Glass and aluminum recovered will be stored in roll-off containers or bunkers. lialed cardboard, <br /> paper, aluminum cans and plastic bottles will be stored until there is enough material to fill a <br /> flatbed truck either by volume or weight. Recovered compostable wood material will be <br /> temporarily stored and moved to the composting facility.
