<br /> the requirements of CCR Title 27.
<br /> • Odor complaints received by the City, !
<br /> County of San Joaquin
<br /> Environmental Health Department
<br /> (acting as the Local Enforcement
<br /> Agency(LEA)for the State of
<br /> ',alifomia)or the SJVAPCD shall be
<br /> esponded to within 24 hours. This
<br /> response shall include an inquiry into
<br /> the source of the odor and
<br /> identification of.the measures
<br /> necessary to eliminate the odor
<br /> source. If excessive complaints are
<br /> received, as defined by the LEA, j
<br /> additional measures shall be
<br /> implemented to control odors.
<br /> Additional measures may include,
<br /> but are not limited to:
<br /> o install plastic curtains l
<br /> on entrances and exits
<br /> to contain odors when i
<br /> doors are opened to
<br /> allow vehicles to enter
<br /> and exit;
<br /> o use of deodorants to
<br /> mask or neutralize
<br /> odors as needed;
<br /> o daily removal of waste
<br /> from tipping floor to
<br /> allow for daily
<br /> washing/cleaning.
