11 <br />Construction & Demolition/Inert Debris Facility Report <br />Tracy Material Recovery and Transfer Facility <br />30703 S. MacArthur Drive, Tracy, California 95377 <br />Types and Quantities of Debris <br />The types of debris to be received are defined in this section of the Project <br />Description/Facility Report following the Construction and Demolition and Inert <br />Debris Processing Tier Regulations (CDI Regulations) implemented under the <br />authority of the California Department of Resource Recycling and Recovery <br />(CalRecycle), effective August 9, 2003. <br />Inert (Type A) Debris includes specific clean inert material including but is not <br />limited to concrete (including fiberglass or steel reinforcing bar embedded in the <br />concrete), fully cured asphalt, brick, slag, ceramics, plaster, clay and clay <br />products. <br />Mixed C&D debris includes only the following items which meet the above <br />criteria: <br />• components of the building or structure that is the subject of the construction <br />work including, but not limited to, lumber and wood, gypsum wallboard, glass, <br />metal, roofing material, tile, carpeting and floor coverings, window coverings, <br />plastic pipe, concrete, fully cured asphalt, HVAC systems and their <br />components, lighting fixtures; permanently installed appliances and <br />equipment, permanently installed furnishings, and other fixtures; <br />• tools and building materials consumed or partially consumed in the course of <br />the construction work, and <br />• cardboard and other packaging materials derived from materials installed in <br />or applied to the building or structure or from tools and equipment used in the <br />course of the construction work. <br />The daily quantities of the debris to be received are listed below as well as the <br />amount of outgoing materials: <br />Table 7 — Daily Quantities of Debris Types <br />Operations <br />Capacity <br />Inert (Type A) Debris <br />Processing <br />200 TPD incoming <br />Mixed C&D Debris <br />Processing — Phase 1 <br />200 TPD incoming included within the 1,800 TPD <br />incoming MRF & TS gate tonnage <br />Mixed C&D Debris <br />Processing — Phase 2 <br />400 TPD incoming included within the 1,800 TPD <br />incoming MRF & TS gate tonnage <br />Outgoing Materials <br />2,000 TPD of product at peak <br />9 170.18 CDI FacReport 050813 revised <br />
