C <br />Construction & Demolition/Inert Debris Facility Report <br />Tracy Materia/ Recovery and Transfer Facility <br />30703 5. MacArthur Drive, Tracy, California 95377 <br />Boundaries <br />Please see Site Plans in Figures section for operating boundaries of the Inert <br />Debris (Type A) Processing Facility and the C&D Processing Facility <br />Public Access <br />The general public will have limited access to the facility's Inert Operations Area <br />and C&D Operations Area for delivery of self -haul loads. Appropriate, visible <br />signage, traffic cones, and instruction by the scale attendant will direct public <br />vehicles to the Inert Operations Area and C&D Operations Area tipping pads. <br />A 6 -foot high, slatted chain link fence with a two gated access points surrounds <br />the site. The entrance gates are closed and locked when the facility is not <br />operating. <br />Siting on Landfills <br />This facility is not located on a landfill. <br />�1 Qualified Professional Design <br />The Project Description and the general design of the facility have been prepared <br />by Evan W.R. Edgar, Principal Civil Engineer of Edgar & Associates, R.C.E. <br />42036, and Dale Solheim of EBA Engineering, R.C.E. 30888. The design of the <br />facility is based on climatological factors, physical setting, adjacent land use, <br />types and number of vehicles anticipated to enter the facility, off-street parking, <br />drainage controls, and hours of operations. <br />The facility has been designed to provide to adequate control of windblown <br />material, minimize the propagation or attraction of vectors and the creation of <br />nuisances. Dust control, noise control, public safety, and other pertinent matters <br />related to the protection of public health at or near the facility have been taken <br />into consideration. <br />The tipping areas are as small an area as practicable, are easily cleanable, <br />designed for safe handling, and constructed to prevent loss of wastes. All waste <br />storage containers will be durable, easily cleanable, designed for safe handling, <br />and will be non-absorbent and leak -resistant. <br />Service Area <br />Tracy MRF & TS accepts inert debris (Type A) and mixed C&D debris from <br />demolition sites throughout San Joaquin County and the surrounding region. <br />14 170.18 CDI FacReport 050813 revised <br />
