Mitigation Measure <br />IN AIR QUALITY AND ODORS <br />The following mitigations would be <br />required: <br />The construction contractor shall <br />implement the following fugitive dust <br />control measures in addition to the San <br />Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control <br />District's Regulation Vlll, Fugitive PM10 <br />Prohibitions (Rules 8011 through <br />8081), during all ground -disturbing <br />activities within the project area: <br />• Disturbed Areas: The <br />construction contractor shall <br />effectively stabilize for fugitive <br />dust control all disturbed areas <br />that are not being actively used <br />for construction purposes, <br />using water or nontoxic <br />chemical <br />! stabilizers/suppressants. <br />iStorage Piles: The construction <br />contractor shall apply water or <br />1 nontoxic chemical <br />stabilizers/suppressants for <br />fugitive dust control, or cover <br />storage piles with a tarp or <br />I other suitable cover or <br />vegetative ground cover. <br />Following the addition of <br />materials to or the removal of <br />materials from the surface of <br />outdoor storage piles, said piles <br />shall be effectively stabilized for <br />fugitive dust emissions, using <br />sufficient water or nontoxic <br />chemical <br />stabilizer/suppressant. <br />• Unpaved Roads: The <br />construction contractor shall <br />effectively stabilize for fugitive <br />dust control all onsite unpaved <br />roads and offsite unpaved <br />access roads using water or <br />nontoxic chemical <br />stabilizers/suppressants. <br />! <br />I <br />0 Conditions of Approval <br />Implementing Timing of <br />Method of Verification Party Verification Monitoring Party <br />The applicant shall <br />provide the Community <br />Development <br />Department with <br />documentation as <br />required by the Air <br />Pollution Control <br />District <br />-11- <br />Applicant <br />Prior to the I San Joaquin County <br />1 issuance of Planning Department 1 <br />j the building I and San Joaquin Valley <br />I <br />j permits and !
